Project overview
ICRISAT is a global agricultural research organization dedicated to improving livelihoods, food security, and sustainability in the semi-arid tropics of Asia and Africa.
Indev consultancy involved the development of an intelligent WhatsApp chatbot system for ICRISAT to provide quick, automated access to agricultural information and improve user engagement. The WhatsApp chatbot was designed to respond to user queries in real time and support efficient dissemination of information to farmers, researchers, and other stakeholders.
The project included API development and integration to enable seamless communication between the chatbot and existing applications, databases, and third-party systems. A secure data exchange and inter-system communication framework was implemented to ensure smooth transfer and synchronization of information across platforms. The solution enhanced digital service delivery, improved system interoperability, and provided a scalable platform for efficient information management.
Scope of work
Indev Consultancy was responsible for the design, development, integration, deployment, and technical support of an intelligent chatbot and interconnected digital system, with a focus on improving accessibility, system interoperability, and secure information exchange.
