In partnership with the Aga Khan Foundation and Charity Water, this project enhances a mobile-based application and web dashboard to monitor in-village piped water supply schemes in Barabanki and Shravasti districts, Uttar Pradesh. Key objectives include real-time tracking optimization, quality assurance, and capacity building. The project, aligned with the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), aims to provide piped water to 56,216 rural residents in 62 villages, with support for green cover promotion and comprehensive ICT support.

Project overview
This project was implemented in partnership with the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) and Charity Water to strengthen the monitoring and management of in-village piped water supply schemes in the Barabanki and Shravasti districts of Uttar Pradesh. The initiative supported the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), which aims to provide safe and reliable piped drinking water to every rural household.
As part of the project, Indev consultancy formed an integrated water supply monitoring system to enable real-time monitoring of water supply infrastructure and field activities. The mobile application allowed field teams to collect information on scheme implementation, infrastructure status, maintenance activities, and service delivery, while the web dashboard provided project managers with real-time insights through reports, maps, and visual dashboards. Overall, the project improved monitoring, transparency, and operational efficiency of rural water supply schemes, benefiting 56,216 rural residents across 62 villages.
Scope of work
Indev Consultancy provides comprehensive technical, digital, and project management support to strengthen the efficiency, scalability, and sustainability of project implementation. The scope of work covers the following key areas:
- Enhancement and optimization of existing digital systems and applications. Development and integration of new functionalities based on evolving project requirements.
- Strengthening real-time tracking and monitoring mechanisms for effective project oversight.
- Integration of new geographical areas, beneficiaries, activities, and project components into the existing digital ecosystem.
- Providing continuous technical support for applications, dashboards, databases, and digital platforms.
- Conducting training and capacity-building sessions for project teams, field personnel, and system users.
- Establishing quality assurance mechanisms throughout system and project implementation, developing customized dashboards aligned with project monitoring and management requirements.
- Development of automated and customized project reports. Generation of periodic analytical, monitoring, and performance reports.
- Providing end-to-end ICT and technical support for project implementation.
The overall scope is focused on strengthening digital systems, improving real-time monitoring, ensuring data quality, enabling effective visualization and reporting, building user capacity, and providing continuous ICT support to facilitate efficient, transparent, and technology-enabled project management.
