In the current pandemic situation of COVID-19, the Indian government has imposed a nation-wide Lockdown in order to save human lives. As a precautionary measure, people had already stocked up some of their daily essentials worth a few days. But as the lockdown gets extended, people around the country are facing difficulty in gathering their daily requirements. People from the lower-income group and daily wage earners, who are currently out of jobs, have been particularly hit hard by this situation. Though the government has adopted certain measures to ensure the supply of daily essentials through authorized ration dealers, the initiative is getting affected due to lack of supplies.
In order to help the humanitarian cause various NGOs, Corporate houses, and individuals have now stepped up and are supplying various required items like food, medicines, etc. to the needy people. But it has been found that in most of the cases few persons are repeatedly receiving the donations while the real needy persons remain deprived of the same. This problem is happening as currently there is no database on the same, so it is not possible to keep a track of donations.

Sanitation, the most important aspect to be taken care of in order to improve and maintain good health and increase one's life span. Especially it is important for the children. Basic sanitation includes usage of latrines/toilets, maintaining cleanliness, filtered drinking water. The preparation of foods in a hygienic way is also a part of a healthy process.
